Maintenance

Training on regular maintenance (cleaning of drainage paths, grease traps, replacement of light tubes, etc.) is provided during the harmonization process. Afterward, the operator is responsible for ensuring this regular maintenance with their own qualified personnel.

Specialized service and maintenance, which goes beyond the scope of basic maintenance (handling of the induction fan, adjusting air flows, etc.), is performed by a certified company or the manufacturer's specialized worker, typically once a year or as agreed.

Surface contamination of the extraction hoods with injected air occurs to a lesser extent compared to conventional hoods due to the increased suction effect. They are cleaned with products intended for stainless steel materials, following the manufacturer's instructions. The grease traps are made of stainless steel, and they can be rinsed with detergents, hot water, steam, or boiled. The dimensions are designed to fit into a dishwasher. Cleaning of the grease traps is recommended after each shift depending on the level of contamination, but at least once every 14 days. Additionally, it is necessary to wipe the drainage channels as needed and flush the underpressure chamber with detergent or hot water once a year, with the drain plug removed.

To remove the grease traps from the hood, pull the handles upward and toward yourself, as shown in the image.
