INDUCTAIR s.r.o. – A Member of the KOTRBATÝ Group
The founder of our company, INDUCTAIR s.r.o., Ing. Ivan Langer, developed an implementation project for the ventilation of a medium-sized hotel, including restaurants and kitchens, in Switzerland in 1987. Achieving optimal ventilation in a hotel kitchen with a ceiling height of 230 cm was only possible by implementing a system with induction air-injected extractor hoods of the INDUCTair® type. This marked the launch of the first ventilation system of this kind, which received recognition from hygienists, authorities, and representatives of a technical university. After a short technical development and demonstration of the hood in operation at international exhibitions in Zurich and Prague, numerous successful installations followed. In the mid-1990s, our company was founded in Prague, and since then, INDUCTair® hoods have become known as top-tier components for kitchen ventilation not only in Switzerland but also in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany. By the end of 2016, over 10,000 hoods were in operation, meeting all the requirements for kitchen ventilation with reduced air circulation. This is our contribution to the sustainable use of energy.
For more than 10 years, the company Kotrbatý V.M.Z., spol. s r.o., located in Pelhřimov, has been manufacturing and supplying original induction hoods based on the protected patent of Ing. Langer. By the end of 2020, over 14,000 INDUCTair® hoods were in operation, with more than 4,000 hoods of various sizes and designs produced, delivered, and installed in the Czech Republic since 1997.
